Arrived KL

Arrived KL 10 mins late after departing Heathrow an hour late. An hour transfer to hotel which was comfortable and well positioned. Wandered round for a couple of hours, grabbed a beer and satay.

Woke up at 3am not pleased!! Managed to get back to sleep about 4 but then slept till 10.45!!!  Missed breakfast and a chunk of the day. Went to buddhist temple with great view over KL then taxi back to Chinatown. Taoist temple and Hindu temple and 'fake street'. Went out later to take pics of Petronas towers at dusk. Then back to bar at hotel for a beer, watching the rain. Went for dinner at revolving restaurant at the top of the KL tower (like the PO tower but bigger)  not the twin towers. Good Asian buffet great view over the city. Very hot but only just started raining. We leave at 8:45 in the morning for Langkawi - better set the alarm this time!!  Pity we couldn't get 2 days here before moving on -we'll just have to come back!!!

Now at airport waiting for Langkawi flight. Good free wifi but only on the phone. Nowhere to plug in the laptop. Will try to load pics later.

I'll try to put pics on the website, but wifi is a bit iffy in the room.
