Amber Fort
The Amber Fort was primarily constructed in the late 16th century by Raja Man Singh I, a trusted general of the Mughal emperor Akbar. Later rulers, including Mirza Raja Jai Singh I, expanded it further. It is known for fusion of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles.
Before Jaipur was founded, Amber (or Amer) served as the capital of the Kachwaha Rajputs for centuries.
