Qutb Minar

Built after the Muslim conquest of Delhi in thye 12th century as a victory tower. Also used as a minaret for the first Islamic Mosque built in Delhi nearby.

The mosque and Minar built using stone from the Hindu temples demolished by the Muslim attackers.
